James Blake coming from London recently released his new album “Overgrown”. Besides continuing to be the producer for most part of songs, he invited American rapper RZA to give friendship performance for singing “Take a Fall for Me” in the album. The album immediately got public praise after it released and won a high review of 85 out of 100 by some professional music review websites. This great achievement’s title track “Overgrown” MV had already been presented in front of listeners which was directed by “Power Trip” MV’s director Nabil. Being shooting in the forest, under somber color screen plus weak voice of James Blake, the MV is full of cool tone atmosphere which is easily to bring people into trance condition.
James Blake became well-known for he was first selected to be the second of BBC “Sound Of 2011” and was on the most promising new singer nomination list of The Brits Awards at that time. And he is the song of guitar master/singer James Litherland who had ever collaborated with Leo Sayer, prince of love song and late Blue legend John Baldry. Before he graduated from university in 2009, James Blake started to face up to his future music career. Meanwhile he positively undertook music composing and then released 12 inch vinyl records “Air & Lack Thereof” via indie labels which achieved popularity including for Gilles Peterson, the BBC Radio 1 show host of high rating/lead DJ that invited by global clubs/CEO of Talkin’ Loud. Gilles Peterson not only promoted broadcasting songs of James, but also invited James to attend the show.
