This self-titled album "Paramore" is the fourth formal one of Paramore and is the debut album after releasing by their new members. The songs style has great changes compared with earlier ones. First, the song style is no longer EMO PUNK in previous time, instead, it can be taken as Alternative Rock specifically still with Pop Punk as base. Arrangements are more diversified, the progress is remarkable and electric guitar creates a feeling of atmosphere which presents in several songs of post rock. With some folk songs interludes through, the album sounds very novel.
The second single “Still Into You” is very interesting in arrangement which sounds full of rock dynamic together with Halley’s novel style.
And “Ain't It Fun” has the felling of American Funk, and some men and women’s soul voice makes it much surprising.
“Future” almost has 5min, after hearing, you will recognize the wonderful post rock. That’s too shocking. But such attempt is necessary and meaningful.
Unfortunately Josh left the band for member conflicts, which is a severe blow to this small band, because Josh had played an important role in song writing since the band’s formation whose join always confirmed the song quality in rhythm and lyrics composing and guitar riff. Halley and the other two members have recharged for a long period of time, but things now go well.
